10. Minnesota Vikings

Words can’t even describe how the Minnesota Vikings must be feeling at the moment when considering they ended up on the wrong end of the biggest upset in Week 3 after falling at home to the previously winless Buffalo Bills. When looking at how the two teams compared on paper from the first couple of weeks, this seemed like a game that would result in an easy win for the Vikings, and it was easy to understand why they were such heavy favorites.

So what exactly happened to Minnesota during their loss to Buffalo? Whether it was overlooking Josh Allen’s ability to run the offense or the three costly turnovers by Kirk Cousins, there was a lot of blame to go around in this loss, and could end up being one of those games down the road that comes back to haunt the Vikings.

There’s a reason why Minnesota was viewed as one of the early Super Bowl favorites in the NFC, and while one loss won’t take that factor away from them, this also shows they have a ton of work on their plate. Cousins wasn’t guaranteed all of that money from his hefty contract to finish with frustrating performances like this, and he better be ready for the Los Angeles Rams in a few days, or it’s going to be another long outing.
