2018 NFL Power Rankings Week 4: Eagles earn tough win in Carson Wentz’s return
By Dan Parzych
16. Pittsburgh Steelers (Play Monday Night)
As if being in search of their first win wasn’t already frustrating enough for the Pittsburgh Steelers to team with, the news broke Sunday that the team seems to be open about the possibility of trading Le’Veon Bell since his holdout doesn’t seem like it’s going to end anytime soon. But instead of worrying about how this will turn out for Bell, the Steelers are focused on Monday’s surprise matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a game that seemed quite favorable a couple of weeks ago.
Never in a million years could anyone have imagined that it would be Tampa Bay sitting with an undefeated record heading into Monday’s game while Pittsburgh was winless, but here they are at 0-1-1. It was one thing to deal with the frustration over tying the Cleveland Browns in the opener, but watching the Steelers lose the way they did the following week at home to the Kansas City Chiefs.
One can only imagine the high level of concern that will be in Pittsburgh if the team fails to win again on Monday, but also Tampa Bay is beatable. If players like James Conner and Antonio Brown step up when needed the most, the Steelers will be in a much better position to hopefully earn that first win to avoid another week filled with extra stress.
