17. Tennessee Titans

With all due respect to the Tennessee Titans, nobody was giving them that much of a chance on Sunday on the road when facing the Jacksonville Jaguars, especially when taking into consideration that Marcus Mariota wasn’t 100 percent healthy. Not to mention, the Jaguars were coming off a statement win of their own the previous week in which they crushed the New England Patriots to make it look like they were a top team in the AFC.

So when the Titans were able to escape with the 9-6 win in a game that didn’t consist of a single touchdown, this team has to feel much better about their situation in the AFC, although they still have a long way to go if they’re truly going to compete. As exciting as it was to see Tennessee end up on the winning end of Sunday’s game, the only chance this team is going to have at reaching the playoffs for a second year in a row is if the offense figures out a way to put up better numbers.

Two wins in a row is impressive, but seeing how the Titans have only scored 29 points in those victories makes it seem like this won’t last the rest of the way. And when seeing how the Philadelphia Eagles are coming to town this weekend, Tennessee knows their offense will need to be better prepared, or it could get ugly real fast.
