5. Corey Clement

Even though he’s a running back, Corey Clement proved to be a valuable receiver as well during Philadelphia’s Super Bowl run last year, and there’s plenty of excitement over what his second NFL season has in store. Originally, the Eagles signed Clement last year as an undrafted free agent to see if he could make a case for one of the roster spots at running back, and this turned out to be one of the best decisions the team could have made when looking at how much of a steal he ended up being.

With a full year of experience along with a Super Bowl ring, Clement knows he’s going to be a valuable member to Philadelphia’s offense once again in 2018. And even though Darren Sproles is back in the picture after missing most of last year with injuries, Doug Pederson will still find a way to use Clement as much as possible in the backfield, even as a receiver.

One of the main reasons why the Eagles had so much success on offense last season was a result of Pederson riding the hot hand in the backfield by constantly switching things up with Clement, Jay Ajayi, and LeGarrette Blount, who joined the Detroit Lions this offseason. Clement may not officially be a receiver, but don’t be surprised if Pederson tries to use him more to make up for the absence of Jeffery for those first two games.
