27. Cincinnati Bengals

Isn’t it amazing how a head coach like Marvin Lewis with a 0-7 career playoff record can continue to still coach a team like the Cincinnati Bengals without ever having to worry about losing his job? Just when it seemed like Lewis was finally going to be out of the picture, the Bengals decided to bring him back by rewarding him with another extension, making most fans want to pull their hair out over the situation.

A coach with a track record like Lewis usually gets sent packing a long time ago, but for some reason Cincinnati continues to keep him around, despite his awful coaching records from over the years. What makes this situation even more frustrating to see is the Bengals have plenty of talent to work with on both sides of the football, which says a lot about the kind of coach Lewis is.

Sadly, Cincinnati could end up missing the playoffs for a third year in a row this season, and Lewis would still have nothing to worry about as far as job security. Maybe this time around, the Bengals can return to their playoff-caliber form from a few years ago, and actually become a surprise contender in the AFC.
