14. Denver Broncos

Ever since Peyton Manning decided to call it a career, the Denver Broncos have struggled to find a reliable replacement at quarterback, but hopefully that is about to change with Case Keenum in the picture. After learning the hard way that players like Brock Osweiler and Trevor Siemian were far from the answer, the Broncos hope Keenum helps take some of the additional pressure off the defense from the previous two years.

Von Miller and company have done a fantastic job for the most part with keeping opponents in check during that time span, but the unit was always feeling frustration over the offense failing to come through on their end. An elite defense like the Broncos can only do so much on their own without the proper supporting cast, and it’s safe to say no member of the unit was happier to see the team sign Keenum than Miller in the offseason.

All of a sudden, Denver is in a position to return to their dominant level from a few years ago as a top team to beat in the AFC. If Keenum lives up to the hype, expect the Broncos’ defense to be quite happy throughout the 2018 season while hopefully making a strong push for the playoffs.
