Philadelphia Eagles: You too can now own Brian Dawkins’ HOF fedora
Do you want to remember Brian Dawkins’ special day for years to come? Well, for about $200 you can purchase the ex-Philadelphia Eagles official HOF fedora
What a weekend to be a Philadelphia Eagles fan.
From the team’s first open practice of the summer drawing a reported 40,000 ravenous fans to the Linc on a Sunday morning, to the team’s decision to bring back former Pro Bowl safety Corey Graham for one more championship contending season, there were plenty of interesting storylines to follow for an Eagles fan in the know.
Oh wait, am I forgetting something?

Oh yeah, Brian Dawkins, arguably the best defensive back in franchise history and the prototype for a modern NFL safety was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame!
After a week of wonderful coverage and thoughtful career retrospectives, Weapon X finally took the stage in Canton and delivered a truly awe-inspiring speech that I’m sure will resonate with fans in the City of Brotherly Love for years to come.
But, do you want to commemorate the occasion with something a little more tangible than just memories, or a spot on your DVR?
Fear not, because X gon’ give it to ya.
On the day following his enshrinement, Dawkins officially released a collection of HOF hats just like the one he wore to the ceremony, and playfully placed on his busts head in a photo that I’m sure will remain relevant for the foreseeable future.
The price? Between $175-$225.
The hat, a fedora expertly crafted by Bollman Hat Company, features a “commemorative Brian Dawkins Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2018 metal pin on its side” and comes in a variety of different colors like Avion Blue, Black, and the now-signature honey he wore to the ceremony.
What’s that? You’d love a hat but a fedora isn’t really your speed? Fear not, for Dawk thought of that too.
In addition to the fedora, which admittedly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, Dawkins has also released a pair of HOF pub hats in black and white. While these hats don’t feature an explicit mention of the Hall of Fame in the same way that the fedora does, they do feature an embroidery of number 20 on both the hat’s label and its back (front?) with the word ‘BDAWK’ stitched below it. Now some may be quick to wonder why the image appears to be embroidered using orange thread (Broncos colors) as opposed to a much classier midnight (or kelly) green, it’s still nice to see the new Hall of Famer give his fans a second hat option for a much cheaper price between $75-$125.
So, what do you think of Dawkins’ now-signature style becoming available to the general public? Will you pick up a hat, or a number 20 jersey anytime soon? Let us know in the comments section below.
