In what could be his last game as a Cleveland Cavalier, Zach Ertz and Carson Wentz set out on a mission to help lure LeBron James to the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Philadelphia 76ers really want to add LeBron James to their roster this offseason, and apparently, that enthusiasm has trickled over to their Philly Sports Complex neighbors the Philadelphia Eagles.

It is the City of Brotherly Love after all.

So while the majority of the Sixers sat at home, watching the game and tweeting at James to move East this fall, a pair of Eagles took it upon themselves to take the show to Cleveland, and chat up The King themselves.

With the series set at 3-0, and the Cavs holding on by a thread, 2017 Pro Bowlers Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz charted a flight to Cleveland and tried their best to present the best Philly has to offer.

Wentz is apparently James’ favorite football player after all.

While there’s no way of knowing if the pair actually talked to James either before or after the Cav’s eventual Game 4 loss, in route to a truly embarrassing finals sweep, it looks like Ertz’s mission to help #CompleteTheProcess did work to an extent, as it’s being reported on by sports blogs and news outlets like right here at Section 215.

At this point, it’s basically common knowledge that any team with James on their roster is almost guaranteed a spot in the NBA Finals, especially if they’re in the Eastern Conference, and for a team like the Sixers, with about as much potential as anyone in the NBA, he could be the missing piece to a championship run.

A run very similar to that of the Eagles in 2017.

As arguably America’s premier sports city at the moment, having already earned a pair of championship trophy’s over the first half of the 2018 calendar year, all four of Philly’s major sports teams are on the upswing and could be heavy duty contenders for the next decade plus, and best of all? The teams really seem to like each other.

From Eagles players taking part in batting practice with the Phillies, to Phillies players like Odubel Herrara hanging out at Sixers games, Philly’s players seem to really enjoy each others company and have helped to build a wonderful, winning culture that’s breathed new life into the city limits.

Though only time will tell if Wentz and Ertz’s trip to Cleveland will help the team win over The King, it’s a nice gesture that I’m sure goes a long way to their cross complex neighbors.
