Philadelphia Eagles: Three potential landing spots for Jeremy Maclin
By Chuck Booth
The Baltimore Ravens can’t catch a break with keeping playmakers.
It began with Torrey Smith leaving to sign a contract with the San Fransisco 49ers, then went into Dennis Pitta‘s first hip injury, then Pitta’s second hip injury, that rolled into Steve Smith‘s retirement. Now we’re here and Dennis Pitta has yet again injured his hip and looks like he’s on the verge of retirement.

This leaves the Ravens desperate for offensive help alongside Breshad Perriman who is basically an unknown due to injuries but has the potential to be a number one receiver. Mike Wallace made a huge impact on the offense last season but adding a talent like Maclin could take the Ravens offense to the next level.
Combined with what should be an above average defense adding Maclin would give the Ravens an offensive core of him, Wallace, Danny Woodhead, Perriman, and Crockett Gilmore to surround Joe Flacco. While many of them have a few concerns, this would be one of the most talented groups of skill players to be around Flacco in his career. The Ravens would have to play around with cap space to make the move work, but if they could, it would be worth it.
