Offensive Line, Grade: B+

More from Section 215

The offensive line definitely got some help this offseason with the addition of Brandon Brooks to the interior. Jason Kelce is coming off of a down year, but let’s not be too quick to show him the door. Up until last season, Kelce was considered to be a top Center in the league, so expect him to return to that for in 2016.

Lane Johnson is a top five tackle in the league and Jason Peters while aging, should still be a more than serviceable protecting Sam Bradford’s blind side. The question that lingers is who is the other starting guard with Brooks. It may not matter all that much though with all of the quality veterans with their hands in the trenches this season.

This unit should be much improved from last season when they were already ranked as the third best run-blocking unit in the league by Pro Football Focus. Sam Bradford should have the time to execute his throws which should lead to a better offensive output overall. Much of the success of the Philadelphia Eagles offense rests in their hands. No pressure, though.
