32. The Cardinals are one of the teams linked to potentially trading for Adrian Peterson. However, for this activity, we’re operating in a vacuum. Therefore, one of the league’s most talent-rich rosters adds perhaps the draft’s most talented player with the 24th overall pick. Were it not for an unfortunately injury-riddled end to his career at Georgia, many could have made an argument that Gurley could have been a top-10 pick. Even with the devaluing of running backs in today’s pass-happy NFL, Gurley is that good and it doesn’t take a scout to realize it. This is a team that can go for it now and Gurley is the type of talent who, if healthy, could contribute on a contender. Between Andre Ellington and Gurley, there may not be a more tantalizing tandem of backs as far as addressing every area in which the running back can affect the game. Bruce Arians and the Arizona front office do not operate with fear when it comes to their moves. They want to do whatever it takes to win and this risk-reward pick has their name all over it..
