The Philadelphia Eagles' offense is pretty stacked, but it's far from perfect. General manager Howie Roseman is a master at turning another team's garbage into a treasure, yet that doesn't change the fact that the Eagles have struggled to find a consistent No. 3 option in their wide receiver room.

That's why, now that Sean Mannion has joined the team as their new offensive coordinator, the former Green Bay Packers quarterbacks coach might be able to assist the Eagles with their WR3 hunt. After all, Mannion's time in Titletown might be enough to bring veteran wideout Dontayvion Wicks to the City of Brotherly Love.

Dontayvion Wicks Could Help Eagles Solve WR3 Woes Thanks to Sean Mannion Connection

The Packers have way too many chefs in the kitchen when it comes to their passing game. While the injury-prone Christian Watson and rookie first-round pick Matthew Golden should be the main pass-catchers, there's also Tucker Kraft, Jayden Reed, and pending unrestricted free agent Romeo Doubs.

With that in mind, it's easy to see why the Packers could be open to an offseason trade surrounding Wicks, who has one year remaining on his contract with an estimated $3.7 million cap hit, per Spotrac.

Since entering the league, Wicks has shown flashes and is an outstanding route runner who can create separation in the blink of an eye thanks to his quick twitch. That said, he's been inconsistently featured in the Packers' passing game because of all the mouths the Packers have to feed.

Despite the competition for targets, an ankle injury that cost him three games, and quarterback Jordan Love missing some games with an injury of his own, Wicks still had some decent numbers, all things considered. He hauled in 30 receptions on 46 targets — a 65.2% success rate — for 332 yards and two touchdowns, which all would've ranked third among Philadelphia's wideouts.

More than that, Wicks' team-friendly contract makes him one of the most intriguing low-risk/high-reward players in the league right now. The Eagles wouldn't have to do much financial juggling to accommodate his contract, and they might also not need to give up much if the Packers are desperate to clear their WR logjam. A mid-round draft pick would probably be enough.

Granted, Wick isn't A.J. Brown or DeVonta Smith, but he's skilled enough to give the Eagles some WR3 help that they sorely need. So, they want to improve his team's passing game while giving Mannion a playmaking threat he's more than familiar with, GM Roseman must call the Packers immediately.
