After watching their team lose Game 7 of the NLCS in agonizing fashion on Tuesday night, Phillies fans are taking their licks right now. Everyone's piling on after Philadelphia after its brutal NLCS collapse cost the team its second straight World Series berth.

Plenty of people were trolling Phillies fans online Wednesday, including some Diamondbacks players. One player in particular, however, had absolutely no business doing so.

Zac Gallen Trolls Phillies Fans

Arizona ace Zac Gallen posted a screenshot to Twitter of a Google search for "phillies spring training" with the caption "Make sure to get those tix for your next game".

It's an obvious shot at Phillies fans, who won't be able to watch their team play again until Spring Training. But Gallen, of all people, shouldn't be making fun of Philly fans.

After all, Philadelphia absolutely owned him in the NLCS. Gallen got shelled in Game 1 at Citizens Bank Park, giving up at least 1 run in each of the first 3 innings. He got tagged for 3 home runs and lasted just 5 innings, giving up 5 runs on 8 hits and 2 walks. The Diamondbacks lost 5-3, and Gallen took the loss.

Gallen had a chance for redemption in Game 5 at home, but he wasn't much better. Again, Gallen put his team in an immediate hole, surrendering 2 quick runs in the first inning. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits (including 2 homers) and 2 walks in 6 innings, taking another loss.

So yeah, Gallen probably shouldn't gloat too much. Arizona made the World Series in spite of him, not because of him. He went 0-2 in the NLCS with a 7.36 ERA and as many home runs allowed (5) as strikeouts -- hardly ace-level production.

Diamondbacks fans better hope he pitches better than that in the World Series, otherwise they might be going home empty-handed.
