Sydney Brown Provides Major Injury Update on Torn ACL Ahead of Training Camp
The Philadelphia Eagles made sure to improve the roster this offseason after a disappointing end to 2023.
The Eagles added a bunch of ballers including Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, Quinyon Mitchell, and Cooper DeJean.
They are now looking to take the Eagles over the top but second-year safety Sydney Brown gave some great news on his knee injury with training camp slated to start later this month.
Eagles News: Sydney Brown Is Trending in the Right Direction
Brown showed up to DeVonta Smith's celebrity softball game and gave some insight into how his rehab process is going.
"I’m back to moving full speed. I’m running about 22 miles per hour again, slowly climbing it up there. I’m still working on lateral movement, but I’ll be as close to 100 percent as I can by the start of the season, and we’ll see what happens with that."

That is great news for Philly fans with training camp starting on July 23.
Brown tore his ACL in the season finale against the New York Giants on the brutal turf inside MetLife Stadium.
In his rookie campaign, the 2023 third-round pick compiled 45 total tackles, three pass deflections, and one interception that he returned for a 99-yard score.
Although Brown is feeling good, he knows he doesn't have the final say.
"If they allow me to go, I’m going to go. But it’s not really up to me, it’s up to the doctors. If it was up to me, I would have returned (already)," Brown stated.
Even if Brown doesn't suit up in Week 1 against the Packers, he may be trending towards an early season return.
Now it just comes down to how his knee reacts to an increased workload but this are looking good for both Brown and the Eagles.
