The Philadelphia Eagles were extremely active this offseason, making a clear effort to improve the team.

GM Howie Roseman made splash moves in both free agency and the NFL Draft. The additions include Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, Quinyon Mitchell, and Cooper DeJean.

Despite all these nice moves, there has been another player flashing at OTAs. Cornerback Isaiah Rodgers has been turning heads at practice.

Philadelphia News: Isaiah Rodgers Has Been Off To a Great Start in OTAs

Rodgers signed a one-year deal with the Eagles in 2023 but he didn't play a single snap for them. He was suspended for the entire season for violating the NFL's gambling policy. Rodgers got reinstated in April and is slated to suit up in 2024.

Reuben Frank of NBCSports covers the Eagles and was present at an OTA practice. He revealed that Rodgers stood out on the field and looked great.

""He looked confident. He looked comfortable. He looked fluid. He looked sticky. He was communicating with the other DBs. He looked nothing like someone who just went 512 days without football.""

This is great news for Eagles fans as they will have a revamped secondary in 2024. Rodgers last played an NFL game on Dec. 26, 2022 with the Indianapolis Colts. That's a long time to go without playing some football but Rodgers is looking crisp.

He'll still have a few months to knock off the rust before playing a meaningful game.

In 2022 with the Colts, Rodgers finished with 34 total tackles, three pass deflections, and logged an 82.1 overall PFF grade. When healthy, he's proved to be an effective NFL defender.
