Dud 1: DeVonta Smith

The Eagles' loaded passing game unfortunately means someone is most likely left out any given week. To start the season, it was mostly Goedert putting up duds. However, in Week 5 it was DeVonta Smith's turn.

Philadelphia's WR2 had plenty of difficulties getting any going on Sunday. He recorded just one reception for six yards versus Los Angeles while Brown and Goedert combined for over 200 yards between them.

With Brown and Godert both going off, it's no wonder there wasn't a ton of opportunities for Smith. After all, the Eagles have to ride the hot hand when it comes this trio.

There isn't anything to read into here, though. Smith was coming off of a Week 4 effort where he totaled seven receptions and 78 yards, proving important to the team's overtime victory. He was also very productive in Week 2, when he tore up the Minnesota Vikings for 131 yards and one touchdown on just four receptions.

This pecking order will change on a week-to-week basis, but Smith is still just as important despite a quiet showing.
