Start Times for Games 1 and 2 of Phillies-Braves NLDS Revealed

The Philadelphia Phillies punched their ticket to the next round of the MLB playoffs after sweeping the Miami Marlins in the Wild Card. Now Philly turns its attention to an NLDS matchup against the division rival Atlanta Braves.

Ahead of this highly anticipated series, the start times for both Games 1 and 2 have been announced.

Braves vs Phillies NLDS Start Times

The first two matchups of the series (Saturday, Oct. 7 and Monday, Oct. 9) will begin at 6:07 p.m. ET, MLB announced on Thursday. Both games are set to air on TBS.

With this out of the way, the Phillies can begin to lock in ahead of first pitch. They have plenty of positive momentum on their side after two high-scoring wins against Miami that showed their bats are ready to make some serious noise this October.

Atlanta does have two advantages coming into this series. The Braves received a bye during the WC round after locking up the top overall seed in the National League, giving their roster extra time to prepare and recover from a long season. They will also have home-field advantage as the higher seed, so they'll play the first two contests at Truist Park along with the series-deciding Game 5 (if necessary).

As we saw in the first round, though, upsets can happen to anyone in the MLB playoffs. Atlanta won't be allowed to coast at all, especially with a fired-up Philadelphia squad that's ready to exact revenge after the Braves took the season series.
