Sixers One Step Closer to Acquiring Former All-Star via Trade
Philadelphia is one of the top teams expected to trade for Pelicans All-Star Brandon Ingram, if you believe the odds at DraftKings Sportsbook.
DraftKings lists the 76ers second among teams that Ingram will play for next season.
His current team is listed first, but that might soon change, with NBA Insider Marc Stein reporting that an Ingram trade could happen as soon as this week.
Odds to Land Brandon Ingram

- Philadelphia 76ers: +400
- Orlando Magic: +600
- Atlanta Hawks: +800
- Houston Rockets: +800
- Detroit Pistons: +900
Sixers the Favorite in the Brandon Ingram Trade Market
Philadelphia finds itself in a precarious position early this offseason.
The Sixers are desperate to find a third star to pair with Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey, but their options could begin to run thin.
It’s possible that LeBron James and Paul George return to their respective LA teams in the coming days or weeks, which would leave Ingram as one of the best remaining options.
Ingram, who turns 27-years-old in September, has averaged 20+ points per game for five straight seasons and would be a MASSIVE upgrade to the starting rotation over Tobias Harris.
It remains to be seen what Philadelphia would have to part with to acquire Ingram, but stay tuned to Section 215 for all of the trade rumblings, as a move could happen soon.
