The Philadelphia 76ers are about to face the New York Knicks on Tuesday night in a must-win game to keep their season alive. Down 3-1, heading on the road, the Sixers have a mountain to climb to extend their season. A deflating loss would mean another early exit for Joel Embiid & Co., raising serious questions about the viability of this roster going forward.

The latest reporting ahead of the game adds to the concern of Sixers fans. Philly has already been dealing with various ailments to Joel Embiid as the reigning MVP is still getting up to speed from his mid-season meniscus surgery and the recent Bell's palsy scare.

And now, it turns out that Embiid might miss Game 5 for a completely different reason.

Sixers News: Joel Embiid Questionable To Play in Game 5 vs. Knicks

According to Tim Bontemps of ESPN, Embiid missed practice on Tuesday morning due to a migraine. His status is questionable for the game.

If Embiid can't suit up, the Sixers are obviously in huge trouble. In the three minutes he sat in Game 4, the Sixers were outscored by six, basically costing them the game. He is already hobbled due to his knee injury and conditioning issues, and additional migraine concerns may further hurt Embiid's effectiveness.

Currently, the Knicks are -158 favorites against the Sixers. Philadelphia, as the 4-point road underdogs, needs every bit of what Embiid can provide to have a chance to bring the series back home.
