The Eagles have an opportunity to add a four-time All-Pro linebacker, as former Indianapolis Colt Shaquille Leonard visits Philadelphia on Tuesday. If all goes well, he could soon be joining the defending NFC Champions.

They say pictures paint a thousand words and Leonard's smile indicates how thrilled he is at the possibility.

Leonard could provide a huge boost to the Eagles' defense as the team pushes for a second consecutive Super Bowl berth. Judging by his reaction at the airport, he seems excited about the possibility as well.

While he's battled injuries over the last two seasons, Leonard was one of the NFL's best defensive players in his first four years with the Colts. He accumulated 15 sacks and recovered seven fumbles in that span, earning four consecutive All-Pro honors.

The 2018 AP Defensive Rookie of the Year had at least 121 tackles in each of those four campaigns, spearheading a stellar Colts defense before injuries derailed him.

For an Eagles team that ranks 20th in opponent points per game (22.4), adding a quality linebacker would bolster the team's postseason hopes.

When you consider that competititors like the Cowboys are also interested in acquiring Leonard's services, the potential benefits become more clear. Philadelphia has a Super Bowl win on its agenda and Leonard could help accomplish that goal.
