The Philadelphia Eagles have their first round of organized team activities this week. During the OTAs, the team gets together, new faces meet their teammates, and they start working on building chemistry together.

That is what the Eagles' star free agent acquisition is doing so far and he likes what he sees. Saquon Barkley, who arrived in Philly this offseason as a replacement for D'Andre Swift, is impressed with the sheer amount of talent the Eagles possess.

In his remarks to the press on Wednesday, Barkley sounded almost starstruck with the offensive firepower of the team, most notably AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, and Jalen Hurts.

Saquon Barkley Impressed With His Eagles Teammates

This is certainly understandable from Barkley. Despite being a highly productive offensive player for the past six years, the star rusher has mostly played on bad offenses. The Giants have ranked bottom-three in the NFL in points per game in three of the last four seasons. He had Tyrod Taylor and Mac Jones as his quarterbacks and Darius Slayton as the best receiver on the team.

Going from that to this offensive group is clearly a big upgrade for Barkley. It will also hopefully help Barkley be more effective in the running game. The former second-overall pick averaged 3.9 yards per rushing attempt last season. With a better offensive line and an overall higher talent level, Barkley should be able to rediscover his 2022 form when he ran for 1,312 yards and ten touchdowns for the Giants.

On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Philadelphia Eagles have the fourth-best odds at +700 to win the NFC and make the Super Bowl. They will need Saquon Barkley to maintain his production to have a chance to do so.
