The Philadelphia Eagles made a bunch of splash moves in free agency ahead of the 2024 campaign. None were bigger than the signing of RB Saquon Barkley. The Eagles decided to let De'Andre Swift walk but in exchange, they brought in one of the most dynamic players in the league.

Barkley and Philly agreed to terms on a three-year, $37.75 million deal with $26 million fully guaranteed. He now joins an offense that features Jalen Hurts, AJ Brown, and DeVonta Smith. That's not even mentioning Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata along the offensive line.

Despite all the excitement, oddsmakers have tempered the belief that Barkley will explode this year. FanDuel Sportsbook has released the odds of their total rushing yards and total rushing touchdowns props for 2024.

They have Barkley listed at 1000.5 total rushing yards with 6.5 total rushing touchdowns.

Oddsmakers are certainly putting a lid on Barkley even though he's now joining the best offense in his career. The former Penn State product has dealt with multiple injuries over the past six years but he's still played in at least 13 games in five of his six seasons.

During his tenure with the New York Giants, Barkley never played with reliable WRs or QBs while consistently running behind a shaky offensive line.

Regardless, he still managed to put up 5,211 rushing yards and 35 touchdowns. He also finished with at least 1,300 rushing yards and 10-plus scores in two seasons.

Barkley is just 27 years old and is entering the prime of his career. Playing in a scheme with all the playmakers around him will only make the game easier for the two-time Pro Bowler.
