The Philadelphia Eagles have had an active offseason so far, turning over the roster that was such a massive disappointment last season. With the NFL Draft only two weeks away, the Eagles will likely continue to be active on the trade market to prepare for the draft, as they already pulled off two surprising trades, bringing in QB Kenny Pickett and moving star pass rusher Haason Reddick to the New York Jets.

The latest trade rumor, however, would not only be the splashiest move of this offseason but also of Eagles history.

The trade involves a superstar from an NFC East rival. Micah Parsons of the Dallas Cowboys has been occupying the headlines lately as he is rumored to have worn out his welcome in Dallas.

Waiting for a contract extension from the Cowboys like his teammates Dak Prescott and CeeDee Lamb, the 24-year-old linebacker hasn't seen the lucrative offer he was hoping for this offseason. This naturally started rumors about a potential trade involving the three-time Pro Bowler despite the fact that he has stated his desire to stay in Dallas.

Enter, the Philadelphia Eagles. Fans started dreaming about potentially landing Parsons in Philly and the trade scenario proposed by one account is a juicy one.

This Proposed Eagles-Micah Parsons Trade Would Be a No-Brainer

The deal involves the Eagles' 2023 first-round pick Nolan Smith, their first-round pick this year, and a 2026 third-round pick.

The Cowboys presumably don't want to trade one of their best players to the Eagles but if this was all it took to bring Parsons to Philadelphia, the Eagles wouldn't think for a second to make this trade.

In reality, the trade package for Parsons would be bigger than this. How often does a 24-year-old superstar in a position of utmost value go on the trade market? The bidding war among teams for a player of Parsons caliber would probably jack up the price to two first-round picks and another high-end asset at the minimum.
