The Philadelphia Phillies will head back to the MLB playoffs for the third consecutive season after clinching a playoff berth last week against the New York Mets and winning the NL East crown on Monday night.

The Phillies took down the Chicago Cubs 6-2 at Citizens Bank Park, clinching the NL East title since 2011. Philadelphia has been one of the best teams in baseball this season and will try to have a better ending this postseason after how last year’s run played out.

With the Phillies about to embark on another postseason journey, the team dropped an exciting hype video to prepare fans for Red October. In the video, Phillies legend and color commentator John Kruk says, “There’s no place like Philadelphia in October.”

The video encapsulates some of the best moments this season at Citizens Bank Park. The Phils have the best home record in 2024, posting a major-league-leading 53 wins. However, the Los Angeles Dodgers are ranked second behind the Phillies with 50 wins.

The Citizens Bank Park crowd has helped the Phillies in their last two postseason runs as they are 12-4. The last two playoff games at CBP weren't great in the NLCS, but fans hope for a different outlook.

We don’t know who the Phillies will be playing as they still have a shot at the No. 1 seed in the NL and potentially home-field advantage. But if things stay the way they are, Phillies fans will get to see their squad play in the NLDS next month.
