With the NLDS tied at 1-1, the Philadelphia Phillies have a chance to finish off the Atlanta Braves at home this week. If the Phillies win Game 3 on Wednesday, they'll have an opportunity to close out the series in Game 4 on Thursday.

Regardless of how Game 3 turns out tonight, both teams will square off again on Thursday. Unfortunately for Philadelphia fans, however, that game might now start later than anticipated.

Phillies Game 4 Schedule

First pitch of Game 4 is currently scheduled for 6:07 p.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 12. However, the game's start time is now in limbo and subject to change depending on the outcome of Wednesday's game between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Diamondbacks currently lead the Dodgers 2-0 in the other NLDS and have a chance to close out the series in Arizona. If Los Angeles loses, then Philadelphia's schedule for Game 4 remains the same. If the Dodgers win and force Game 4, however, then the start time for Braves-Phillies will be pushed back 2 hours to 8:07 p.m. ET to accommodate.

That obviously wouldn't be ideal for Philly fans, many of whom have likely already made plans around the earlier start time. Thursday is still a school and work night as well, which means it will be harder for kids and other fans to stay for the entire game, which may not end until closer to 11 p.m. ET.

Regardless, Phillies fans have been incredible this postseason and are sure to bring the noise. Their team will either be on the brink of advancing to the NLCS or on the brink of elimination in Game 4, so they'll need to get loud and do everything they can to disrupt Atlanta's players.
