The Philadelphia Eagles have gone all-in this offseason to add more talent to the roster. Last season went up in flames after the Eagles started the year off 10-1.

They dropped six of their last seven games but decided to make some moves on both sides of the ball to supplement an already talented roster.

Outside moves featured the signings of Bryce Huff, Chauncey Gardner-Johnson, and Saquon Barkley. They also extended their own guys in Landon Dickerson and Jordan Mailata.

Another young difference maker returning to the defensive side this season is linebacker Nakobe Dean. Last season, the Georgia product underwent surgery for a Lisfranc injury that forced him to miss the entire year. He only managed to suit up in five games.

Dean met with the media on April 17 and talked about his recovery.

Eagles News: Nakobe Dean Gives Vague Timeline for Return

Dean was asked when he'll be ready to return to action and he responded with a one-word answer. "Soon."

Dean got hurt in the Week 9 contest against the Dallas Cowboys which was a blow to both the 23-year-old and the Eagles.

Philadelphia went all-in on the 2022 third-round pick to be their starting linebacker in 2023 but things didn't work out that way.

Coming out of college, Dean was known for his great speed sideline-to-sideline and had a knack for excelling in open space. He plays the game with physicality and brings high energy.

In 22 games and four games starts with the Eagles, he recorded 43 total tackles and three tackles for loss.

Rolling into 2024, Dean will be back in the fold and hopes to provide a jolt to their defense.
