Joc Pederson Teases Possible Phillies Deal With Instagram Post

Free agency has been relatively quiet for the Philadelphia Phillies so far, but things are about to pick up. As the world awaits a decision from free agent Shohei Ohtani, the Phills have seemingly moved on and are onto other ventures.
Free agent Joc Pederson is coming off of a two-year stint with the San Francisco Giants and is looking for a new home. But his latest instagram post leads me to believe he found his next landing spot.
Free agency: Joc Pederson post shows Philadelphia is his next destination?
After seven seasons and one World Series championship with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Pederson signed a one-year "prove it" deal with the Chicago Cubs in 2021 in a make-or-break year for them. They broke, but Pederson did not. He was traded midseason to the Atlanta Braves and helped them to their first World Series title in 26 years.
Pederson held his own in San Francisco, but they never reached the postseason in their partnership. There was not a lot of attention on the free agent going into the offseason, but there were lists of teams that could use him as a veteran filler, Philadelphia being one of them.
The Phillies have a very talented roster that is ready to continue competing for a championship. Adding Pederson deepens the group and will help the overall health of the team. His role, I assume, would either be coming off the bench or platooning with the guys in the outfield. But this team will be better because of the extra depth.
