Philadelphia center Jason Kelce has been flirting with retirement since the Eagles lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Jan. 15. Kelce has contemplated walking away at the end of the season over the past few years but decided to come back for another campaign. Will that trend continue in 2024 or will he officially retire?

We're going to finally get a decision as Kelce announced on X that he will hold a press conference at the Eagles NovaCare Complex at 1 p.m. ET to address his future.

Kelce is currently 36 years old but is still playing at a Pro Bowl level. The Cincinnati product is one of the smartest players on the field and uses his elite IQ to be a viable asset upfront.

This past season, the seven-time Pro Bowl selection logged 1,108 offensive snaps and only gave up one sack. He finished the campaign with an 80.7 PFF overall grade. Kelce consistently moves players in the run game as well and hasn't been below an 79 PFF run grade since 2015.

He has been with the Eagles since being selected in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft. Over his 13-year career, Kelce has notched seven First-Team All-Pro nods and a Super Bowl title.

If it is the end of the road for Kelce, it has been a remarkable run for him and the Eagles. He was as consistent and durable as they come, being an anchor along the interior. But if it did want to come back for another year, Philadelphia will welcome him back with open arms.

One way or another, a decision on his future will be answered.
