Jason Kelce has been doing an excellent job keeping Philadelphia Eagles fans on their toes the past few weeks.

After the infuriating wild-card loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, there was a consensus among Eagles fans and national pundits alike that it was Kelce's final game in the NFL. The reporting following the game and the fact that the future Hall-of-Famer was having too much fun supporting his younger brother seemed to have confirmed those suspicions.

Yet, ever since then, the All-Pro center has been uncertain about the decision regarding his future. And now, he may be inching closer towards coming back for another season.

Eagles News: Jason Kelce "Trying Not To" Retire

Kelce, who was at the Pro Bowl over the past weekend, dropped a hint when he was signing autographs for fans. When someone said "Please don't retire, for the love of football, please don't", the 36-year-old Eagles icon responded with "I'm going to try not to."

This is the latest indication that Kelce might not have played his final game as an Eagle. Earlier, his brother Travis had said that Jason "has some football left in him". And he is right. There was no clear decline in Jason Kelce's performance on the field, making All-Pro and Pro Bowl once again.

Kelce had previously highlighted his excitement about the new coaching staff behind Nick Sirianni and underlined his desire to "prove people wrong" after the disappointing 2023 season. All signs are starting to point to him running it back for a last dance.

If you don't want to start thinking about the next season yet, there is still one more game left in the NFL calendar. Don't miss out on your chance to claim $200 in bonus bets when you make a $5 winning wager on FanDuel Sportsbook.
