The Philadelphia Eagles bounced back in a major way Sunday night, defeating the Miami Dolphins 31-17 after losing to the New York Jets one week prior. Quarterback Jalen Hurts made some mistakes, but his performance as a passer also helped Philly get the win.

It was revealed after the contest that Hurts wore a knee brace during the second half of Sunday night's win. When asked by reporters if the injury will affect him going forward, the star QB remarked "I hope not."
This response certainly prompts some worries. While Hurts said he was "fine" after playing through the issue, there's no guarantee he'll feel the same once the adrenaline has worn off. His words also carry a bit of uncertainty since he didn't outright deny the issue will have any impact on him in the coming days.
An injury under center is certainly the last thing this already banged-up team needs right now. That's especially the case for the QB himself, who's still working through some struggles compared to his 2022 play. While he and the offense are making progress, any missed time would derail that.
Hopefully Hurts' knee problem isn't anything with long-term effects.
