Eagles Injury News: Jalen Hurts Not Practicing With Illness
This is a surprising development for Hurts, who hasn't missed a game due to injury this season. Philadelphia needs a win to keep pace in the race for the NFC's No. 1 seed and the team obviously needs Hurts on the field.
He's thrown for 3,192 yards with 19 TDs while adding 460 yards and 12 scores on the ground. Hurts is the star around which Philly's offense orbits and beating the Seahawks becomes much more difficult if he's limited.
For what it's worth, there hasn't been any indication that he will be limited, though this illness sprang up unexpectedly.
As it stands, the Eagles are three-point favorites at FanDuel Sportsbook. Should bad news develop around Hurts' status, you can expect oddsmakers to view the matchup as a pick-'em. In such a critical week, here's hoping Hurts' performance won't be impacted.
