Philadelphia Phillies backup catcher Garrett Stubbs did not have the season at the plate he was hoping for in 2023. He had your standard backup catcher role behind JT Realmuto, playing in 41 games. In 125 plate appearances, he batted .204 and struck out 29 times,
He did not get a chance to bat in any round of the 2023 playoffs for the Phillies. As we all know, the amazing run they had came to a screeching halt after the Arizona Diamondback won both games six and seven at the Bank to stun Philadelphia and advance to the World Series. In the City of Brotherly Love, we're always down to celebrate some love. Congratulations to the beautiful couple.
