After traveling to Brazil to play their first game of the 2024 season, the Eagles return home in Week 2 for a fascinating Monday Night Football matchup against the Atlanta Falcons. This battle of the birds will likely feature Kirk Cousins coming to Philadelphia as a member of the Eagles, and the only reason I say "likely" is because the Falcons sent mixed signals with the selection of first-round quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

Regardless, the Eagles and new defensive coordinator Vic Fangio will have their hands full with the plethora of playmakers the Falcons have offensively. But this Eagles team can win a shootout if need be.

The Eagles will play their third primetime game of the 2024 season at home against the Jaguars on Sunday Night Football. It'll be a homecoming for Eagles Super Bowl-winning head coach Doug Pederson, who is now the head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Trevor Lawrence was hurt last year and took a bit of a step back as a player, but the real story this year for Jacksonville is going to be whether or not that defense can return to some level of competence under new coordinator Ryan Nielsen.

I just don't know if the Jaguars have what it takes to hang with the Eagles on the road.
