Eagles Absurdly Overlooked in NFL Super Bowl Odds Despite 10-1 Record
By Joe Summers
At some point, wins have to matter right?
Every team in the NFL has at least three losses except for your Philadelphia Eagles, who sit atop the standings with a 10-1 record.
Despite the standings, sportsbooks still don't properly respect the Eagles. They've beaten the Cowboys, Chiefs and Bills in consecutive weeks but still aren't Super Bowl favorites.
Check out the updated odds below ahead of an NFL Week 13 showdown against the 49ers.
Eagles Super Bowl Odds Disrespect Dominance
Despite the incredible stretch of wins, the Eagles sit THIRD in Super Bowl odds at DraftKings behind the 49ers and Chiefs.
Again, what are we doing here?
Dating back to last season, Philadelphia is 11-1 in its last dozen games, covering the spread in five consecutive wins. The 49ers have three losses this season and got trounced by the Eagles in the NFC Championship game, so these odds are wildly disrespectful to the reigning NFC Champs.
The Eagles have an opportunity to silence their critics over the coming weeks. They face San Francisco on Sunday before battling the Cowboys in Week 14, giving Jalen Hurts and the organization plenty of chances to prove their mettle.
I'd argue they already have, but oddsmakers seem to disagree. Apparently wins aren't enough anymore and oddsmakers clearly missed the mark.
If you want to back the Eagles at this ridiculous value, DraftKings Sportsbook is giving you an INSTANT $150 bonus today! Sign up, deposit at least $10 and bet $5 or more on the Eagles to win the Super Bowl and you'll immediately receive $150 in bonus bets. Don't let this disrespect stand - sign up for DraftKings now!
