Week 18: Philadelphia Eagles @ New York Giants

Sunday, January 7, 1:00 PM ET

If the Philadelphia Eagles can win the first three of this final four game stretch, it will be interesting to see what scenario presents itself here in Week 18. With how well both the Cowboys and 49ers have played all season, my guess is that we're going to get a competitive final week of the season from all three of them.

And once again, here in Week 18, it's the Tommy DeVito show going up against the Eagles. And you know the Giants are going to be doing everything in their power to play spoiler at this point of the year and make sure the Eagles don't have it easy in the playoffs.

But this is a game that a true championship contender should win. If the top seed in the NFC is on the line at this point, the Eagles need to find a way to buckle down and bring their very best. The key here is going to be whether or not the Giants are still on a bit of a hot streak at this point. At some point, you expect that to cool down at least just a little bit.

But it's also possible that DeVito grows in confidence over the next month and ends the season on a high note. Heck, as we sit here today, the New York Giants are not even eliminated from the final Wild Card spot in the NFC. You never know what could happen.

But if I were betting on this game, there's no way I'm picking the Giants straight up, even at home.
