Week 16: New York Giants @ Philadelphia Eagles

Monday, December 25, 4:30 PM ET

The Philadelphia Eagles return home in Week 16 to face off against the latest backup QB phenomenon in today's NFL. Namely, Tommy DeVito. The New York Giants have played shockingly well with DeVito at the helm, especially lately, but it feels like their luck will run out sooner or later.

You've still got to tip your cap to Brian Daboll for the way he's gotten that team to at least be competitive in the second half of the season, and although they've beaten some teams with bad records, the Giants are currently in the midst of a three-game winning streak. They've beaten the Patriots, Commanders, and Packers, and nobody's taking this team lightly anymore.

The Giants have been operating efficiently offensively, and the defense is forcing turnovers. As a matter of fact, they've forced a whopping 12 turnovers over the course of this three-game winning streak, and this team has the look of a dangerous team with just four games left to play.

I think the first meeting between these two teams could end up being close for three quarters, maybe even annoyingly close for Eagles fans, and then Philly will find a way to pull away in the second half.

Prediction: Eagles win 27-17
