The Philadelphia Eagles entered this week 1-0 on the season. In Week 1, they outlasted the Green Bay Packers 34-29 in Brazil.

The Eagles' offense looked very effective after they made some additions to the team this offseason. The biggest one was running back Saquon Barkley, who made a statement in his first game. He finished with 109 rushing yards, 23 receiving yards, and three total touchdowns.

They also added Jahan Dotson on Aug. 23, joining a talented wide receiver room with AJ Brown and DeVonta Smith as the 1-2 punch.

But they aren't done adding to the WR room and snagged a former San Francisco 49er.

Eagles News: Danny Gray Joins Philadelphia's Practice Squad

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Eagles are signing wide receiver Danny Gray to their practice squad.

Gray was selected in the third round of the 2022 NFL Draft by the 49ers. The 25-year-old receiver has struggled since being drafted by San Francisco and was released in late August.

Across three NFL seasons, Gray has reeled in just one catch for 10 yards. Although he was let go, he has the traits needed to be an effective player in the league if he puts it all together. Gray has terrific downfield speed and has the twitch to change directions in a flash.

During the 2022 NFL Scouting Combine, Gray ran a 4.33 40-yard dash. The SMU product must showcase his abilities in practice before getting the call-up to the 53-man roster.

But one thing that's clear is that Philadelphia will take some dart throws at receiver, no matter how potent the offensive unit is.
