The Philadelphia Eagles are headed back to the NFL playoffs once again following a successful regular season. Nick Sirianni's squad started the year incredibly strong, winning five straight games to begin 2023 and posting a 10-1 record through Week 12.

There's been some bumps in the road during the second half of the campaign, but the Eagles certainly aren't lacking in the talent department. That gives last season's Super Bowl runner-up a legitimate chance to get back to the big game.

Despite some recent struggles, Philadelphia enters the postseason as one of the teams with the strongest odds to win the whole thing in February.

FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Eagles at +1300 to capture another Super Bowl title this playoffs. That puts them No. 6 around the league, trailing only the San Francisco 49ers (+230) and Dallas Cowboys +750) in the NFC.

The gap between San Francisco and the rest of the conference does show how wide open things could be on that side of the bracket this postseason. A case could be made for either the Cowboys or Eagles as the NFC's next-best team, but the only thing that matters at this point is results.

Philadelphia definitely has the benefit of experience on its side. This roster's core from their previous attempt to win the Lombardi trophy is mostly intact, so these guys know what it takes to win on the game's biggest stage together. There's a few holdovers from Philly's last Super Bowl win still around, too, which is invaluable to a group looking to get back to the mountaintop.

With stars on both sides of the ball, led by dynamic dual threat Jalen Hurts, the Eagles' skill level can't be argued with. The team's issue, however, is properly utilizing its playmakers. Sirianni has tinkered with his staff setup to end the regular season, but now he needs those changes to pay off.

The Eagles' playoff journey will begin on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first round. Philly is the early favorite to win this playoff clash on FD Sportsbook at -152 moneyline odds.
