The Philadelphia Eagles were on the road in Week 5 against the Los Angeles Rams, but it certainly didn't feel like it. Philly fans showed up in huge numbers at SoFi Stadium, turning the contest into a mini-home affair due to their raucous energy.

In fact, Eagles Nation made so much noise inside the venue that it messed with the Rams' offense.

Speaking postgame with reporters, rookie defensive tackle Jalen Carter revealed how Eagles fans played a role in the win. Carter said the Philly faithful was so loud in SoFi Stadium that Los Angeles actually had to change its snap count to deal with the noise.

This gave Carter an unexpected advantage on defense once he identified the tweak, and he used it to his advantage to record two sacks on Sunday.

The Eagles' fans disurpting an opponent is nothing new. After all, their rabid passion gives Philadelphia one of the league's best home-field advantages when they're at home.

However, causing an actual in-game shift when the Eagles are the road team is something truly crazy. The fact it helped one player have a career day makes it somehow even better.

With some home cooking on their side, Philly went on to capture a 23-14 victory in Week 5 and keep its undefeated record intact. We'll see if the team has similar road support next Sunday when they take on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
