Eagles Fan Shows Up at Team Practice Facility Demanding Big Changes
No one in Philadelphia is happy after the team's second straight loss. Nick Sirianni and his staff aren't pleased with how they prepared their playmakers, while the players are starting to question the team's gameplan.
Meanwhile, fans can only sit back and watch this talented squad fumble away its lead for the top seed in the conference.
This passionate fan base is going to let the organization hear it when they need to, and such was the case on Monday.
One fan, decked out in Birds gear, was spotted outside of the team's practice facility following the loss to the Dallas Cowboys. They held a sign that said "Fire Sean Desai" while standing next to a pair of garbage cans -- which were labeled "No Play Slay" and "Bradberry."
Obviously this person isn't happy with Philly's new defensive coordinator, who's struggled to get the most out of a group that led the team to the Super Bowl a season ago. But that unhappiness extends to two big names on this unit as well in veterans Darius Slay and James Bradberry, both of whom haven't made as many big plays as the 2022 campaign.
This mini-protest even got the attention of Slay, who responded on Twitter.
This is just another example of how crazy this fan base actually is. The care for the team and its success is clear, which leads to sometimes outlandish displays of fandom.
Head coach Nick Sirianni isn't likely moving on from Slay or Bradberry at this point in the season. Same for Desai, who was Sirianni's pick to replace Jonathan Gannon.
Instead, this group will need to figure out its issues over the next couple of weeks to ensure a strong performance in the playoffs. Otherwise, the organization might be forced to give in to this fan's demands if they blow another title chance.
