The Philadelphia Eagles will not return to the NFC Championship game after losing to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during Super Wild Card weekend. It was a rough end for a Philly team that started the season 10-1 but lost six out of their last seven games.

The Eagles will make changes to the roster and potentially the coaching staff as this team failed to live up to expectations. Speaking of the roster, Philadelphia will be preparing for the 2024 NFL Draft, where they have nine selections.

Eagles 2024 Draft Trades

The Eagles have nine picks in the 2024 draft, including three that were acquired via a trade. Here’s how Philadelphia got those draft picks: 

  • The Eagles traded a 2022 first-round pick (No. 16), a 2022 first-round pick (No. 19), and a 2022 sixth-round pick (No. 194) to the New Orleans Saints for a 2022 first-round pick (No. 18), a 2022 third-round pick (No. 101), a 2022 seventh-round pick, a 2023 first-round pick (No. 10), and a 2024 second-round pick (No. 50)
  • Philadelphia traded a 2023 sixth-round pick (No. 191) to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for a 2024 second-round pick (No. 234)
  • The Eagles traded defensive tackle Kentavius Street to the Atlanta Falcons for a 2024 sixth-round pick (No. 188)

Compensatory Picks

The Eagles are projected to receive four compensatory draft picks, including three for Day 3 of the 2024 NFL Draft. Compensatory picks are awarded to teams across the league based on qualifying free agents signed or lost the previous offseason. The selections won’t be announced until later in the offseason.
