The NFL officially released its Top 25 performance-based payout list on April 1. The performance-based program compensates all players based on their playing time and salary levels. Players are set to receive $393.8 million in total from this program.
Safety Reed Blankenship was an undrafted free agent and signed with the Eagles in 2022. Since then, he's developed into a quality defender and has earned the No. 2 slot on the performance-based payout list, earning a nice payday.
Blankenship brought in $923,059, only trailing John Simpon, who made $974,613.

Eagles News: Reed Blankenship Earned a Nice Contract Bonus for 2023 Season
Blankenship stepped into a starting role last season and excelled on the field for the Eagles. The Middle Tennessee State product showed his ability to be a willing tackler in the run game while being disruptive as a defender in the passing attack.
The 25-year-old started 15 games, putting up career highs in total tackles (113), pass deflections (17), and interceptions (3). His stellar play led to him earning an extension through the 2025 campaign.
These stats helped Blankenship notch a 73.4 overall grade. He's earned every penny of that contract bonus and heads into 2024 as a key contributor to the defense.
