The Philadelphia Eagles have been one of the busiest teams throughout the entire offseason. After a disappointing end to the 2023 season, the Eagles made sure to add some high-end talent in both free agency and the NFL Draft.

In March, the Eagles signed Saquon Barkley, Bryce Huff, and Chauncey Garder Johnson. Before the draft, they extended core players like A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, Jordan Mailata, and Landon Dickerson.

Fans were feeling good about the team and that excitement continued to rise after draft weekend. GM Howie Roseman nabbed Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean with their first two picks to solidify the secondary.

Now after the three-day event, the Eagles decided to part ways with four players.

Eagles News: Philadelphia Has Released Four Players Post the NFL Draft

According to Jake Rabadi, the Eagles waived Noah Elliss, Griffin Hebert, Tiawan Mullen, and Lecitus Smith.

Teams are able to have up to 90 players on the roster heading to offseason workouts and training camp. Even with that high number, Philly decided to part ways with these four players after adding nine players from the 2024 NFL Draft.

Elliss, Hebert, and Mullen never played a snap for the Eagles but signed reserve/future contracts with the Birds on Jan. 18. As for Smith, he started two games for the Arizona Cardinals in 2022. Unluckily for them, it looks like they won't get a chance to play for the Eagles in 2024.

Philadelphia has one of the most stacked and loaded rosters in the league as they look to compete for Super Bowl in 2024. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Eagles have the fifth highest odds at +1400 to win the title. Head over there now to lock in these odds.
