The Philadelphia Eagles are coming off a thrilling Week 1 performance, that saw them knock off the Green Bay Packers 34-29 in the first-ever game in Brazil.

The Eagles made a long list of additions this offseason, as they look to redeem themselves after an embarrassing end to the 2023 season.

General manager Howie Roseman attacked free agency with a full head of steam, and during the Week 1 win, the Eagles saw the benefits of running back Saquon Barkley, who finished with 109 rushing yards, 23 receiving yards, and three total touchdowns.

But the Eagles didn't see that kind of production from all their offseason moves and may be feeling some buyer's remorse with one of the free-agent additions.

Eagles News: Bryce Huff Underwhelms in Eagles Debut

Philadelphia signed defensive end Bryce Huff to a three-year, $51 million deal, as they looked to replace Haason Reddick, who was sent to the New York Jets via trade.

In Huff's first game as an Eagle, he had an underwhelming performance. He finished with one assisted tackle but had no sacks, pressures, or QB hits. This was his first game without recording a pressure, in which he played more than six snaps since 2021.

Even though this is just one game, this isn't the start the Eagles envisioned when signing Huff. Last season with the Jets, the 26-year-old had 10 sacks and 21 QB hits.

He has the skillset to be effective off the edge but it just wasn't on display in Week 1. His next opportunity to make an impact will be on Sept. 16 as the Eagles host the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.
