The NFL Draft is set to take off on April 25 in Detroit as teams around the league look to bring in franchise-altering players. The Eagles head into the draft with eight total selections and hope to fill in depth pieces on their roster.

There's been some turnover at the EDGE position for the Birds this offseason. They inked Bryce Huff to a three-year, $51 million deal, restructured Josh Sweat's deal for 2024, and traded Haason Reddick to the New York Jets in exchange for a 2026 third-round pick that can increase to a second based on stats.

The Eagles may not be done making moves at the position. Per Andrew DiCecco of InsideTheBirds.com, Eagles DL coach Jeremiah Washburn traveled to Fort Collins, Colorado, to privately workout Colorado State EDGE Mohamed Kamara.

Eagles News: Mohamed Kamara Has A Private Workout With DL Coach Jeremiah Washburn

Many draft experts give Kamara a 5th/6th round draft grade and that bodes well for the Eagles. They have three fifth-rounders and one sixth.

Kamara is a compact but physical edge rusher. He explodes out his stance and is relentlessly pushing linemen into the backfield. He's described by his teammates as being an intense and no-nonsense type of player.

The New Jersey native finished his collegiate career with 179 total tackles, 45.5 tackles for loss, and 29.5 sacks. He also forced five fumbles.

His play on the tape jumps off the screen and he's an enticing option on Day 3 for Philly. They could easily use one of their three fifth-round picks to bring Kamara to town and he would be a nice addition to an already talented group.

The Eagles have one of the best rosters in the league and own a real shot of reaching Super Bowl LIX. They currently have the sixth-best odds in the NFL to win the whole thing at +1600. Head over to FanDuel Sportsbook, claim your sign-up bonus, and take advantage of these odds to back the Eagles.
