3. Get someone else involved at wide receiver

For a team with a duo as good as the Eagles have in AJ Brown and Devonta Smith, it's a little shocking that there's such a massive dropoff at the position beyond those two guys.

For whatever reason, this is an area of the roster that GM Howie Roseman simply has not been able to figure out.

The Eagles' current third receiver (at least their projected third receiver) is free agent pickup Parris Campbell, a worthwhile dart throw and player who has had some success at the NFL level when healthy. But staying healthy has been difficult for Campbell, to say the least.

Even the ghost of Julio Jones has gotten some extensive action for this team recently. With all due respect to Jones, who has been an all-time great in his prime, the Eagles can do better than that. And they have to. They are one injury away from the wide receiver position being in shambles. Who will step up as a third target for this team at the wide receiver position? It could be Campbell, but the Eagles also used a couple of day three NFL Draft dart throws on the likes of Ainias Smith and Johnny Wilson.

Someone will need to emerge over the course of training camp and the preseason, or Philly might have to dangle a draft pick out there in a trade to bring someone in to supplement their depth here.
