Eagles 2023 Schedule: Predicting the Score of Every Remaining Game
By Randy Gurzi
Week 18: Eagles @ Giants - Jan. 7
Two weeks before this one, we had the Giants getting blown out on the road against the Eagles 35-7. This time, the defense will again hold New York's offense back but it wouldn't be a surprise to see Philadelphia put up fewer points on offense. That's not due to the game being in MetLife Stadium but rather the circumstances leading up to this game.
Securing win No. 13 against Arizona should be enough for Philadelphia to win the NFC East once again. It's also highly likely they win the No. 1 seed in the NFC — unless the Lions are able to catch them. That means they might be heading into this game looking to rest their starters and ensure they're fully healthy for the postseason.
Of course, if they do have the No. 1 seed in hand, that means they will enjoy a week off in the playoffs — with only the top team getting that bye. Philly would love to have that but if they do, that means they'll likely put their starters out there for a quarter, or maybe two, just so they don't get rusty from two weeks off.
Even if they went full-on backups, this game would be one-sided. But in this prediction, they build a big lead with the starters, who then get to sit back and watch as they win their 14th game of the season very comfortably.
Score Prediction: Eagles 24, Giants 6
Record 14-3
