Usually NFL player's families are pretty good at handling the public spotlight. They don't want to hurt the reputation of their loved ones, and they don't necessarily want to be in the public spotlight themselves.

None of that applies to Dak Prescott's brother. Prescott's brother appears to be from the Jackson Mahomes school of "steal as much of the spotlight as you can," and he does this despite having terrible takes that match those of the most delusional Cowboys fan.

The latest instance was laeving Jalen Hurts off his top-10 quarterback ranks, calling him a running back instead.

This isn't even upsetting for Eagles fans. It's just an embarrassing take. Imagine saying Joe Flacco and Russell Wilson are better than Jalen Hurts? It just makes you look like you have zero idea what you're talking about.

I mean, rivalry or not, if I puffed up my chest and said that Zach Wilson is a better quarterback than Dak Prescott, I'm the one who ends up looking bad in the scenario.

And if you really, truly believe that Hurts isn't a top-10 quarterback? Then it's especially embarrassing that he's tied with your brother in the odds to win NFL MVP next season.

Adding to the embarrassment is that Dak has a worse interception rate than Hurts over the last two seasons while also having fallen well behind in Pro Football Focus' passing grade in 2022 (80.6 for Hurts vs. 68.6 for Dak) while being a close rase (83.6 for Hurts 89.8 for Dak) in 2023.

You'd think it would be a lot easier for Dak to outplay a quarterback who isn't even as good as Joe Flacco...
