Monday's NLDS Game 2 went downhill in a hurry for the Philadelphia Phillies. After cruising to a 4-0 lead and looking well on their way to a second win of the series, Philadelphia's bullpen collapsed and allowed the Braves to take command of the game at 5-4.

Philadelphia had one last chance in the top of the ninth, and star Bryce Harper's opening walk put the tying run on first. However, Harper's baserunning blunder on Nick Castellanos' fly out sealed the Phillies' disappointing fate.

Harper earned his fair share of criticism from outsiders after the game. However, it turns out the Braves had something to say about it as well.

FOX Sports' Jake Mintz reported following the contest that Atlanta shortstop Orlando Arcia "cackled emphatically" in response to Harper's gaffe. Arcia also chided, with reporters directly nearby, "ha-ha, atta-boy, Harper." Mintz even claims the SS said it "repeatedly" within earshot of the media.

No one in Philadelphia is particularly surprised to see the Braves' true colors showing. The bad blood between these clubs runs deep, and the Phillies getting the early jump on their NL East rivals only heightened the feelings of animosity in Game 2. Even Cristian Pache got caught in the crossfire on Monday, as Atlanta did him no favors in his return to Trusit Park.

While messing with Pache is one thing, poking the bear that is Harper is another entirely. He doesn't need any extra motivation to make up for his error on the basepaths, but the Braves just gave him some ahead of Game 3.

Something tells me Arcia's actions will come back to bite him if the Phillies go on to win this series.
