Allen Iverson will always be a Philadelphia legend. One of the most iconic players to ever step foot on a basketball court, Iverson will forever be remembered by the city of Philadelphia as one of the best ever to wear a Sixers uniform.

Understandably, the unveiling of his statue outside the Sixers' training complex in Camden was a big deal. On Friday, The Answer himself attended the ceremony to see his statue in front of team officials, media, and fans.

The statue itself, however, was rather underwhelming, especially at first glance.

Social Media Users Cause Ridiculous Frenzy Over Iverson Statue

Shocked by the tiny size of the statue, people understandably took to social media. Sixers hopefuls, Iverson fans, and regular social media users started to troll the statue, calling it a "disrespect" to a Hall of Famer.

However, it's important to remember that this is only the latest addition to the row of statues outside the training facilities that include plenty of Sixers legends with similar-sized statues.

One could argue that all of these statues could and should be bigger. That is a different issue. The idea of the city of Philadelphia or the Sixers organization would never willingly disrespect Iverson like that.

It could be pointed out, however, that maybe a more iconic Iverson moment could have been chosen to be immortalized. Yes, the crossover is his signature move but the famous stepover against Tyronn Lue or bringing his hand to his ear as a celebration could have made for a better statue.
